DepthQ® MobileTM 3D Visualization Suite
The DepthQ® MobileTM 3D Visualization Suite is a portable stereoscopic solution for the monitoring, recording and playback of all Intuitive Surgical da Vinci®, da Vinci® STM and da Vinci® S HDTM Surgical Systems.

DepthQ® MobileTM combines a large high-definition stereoscopic monitor and self-contained computer system running DepthQ®CaptureTM software with the simplicity and convenience of a transportable motorized lift system. Simply press a button and the 3D monitor, computer, and storage drawers rise or lower for optimized viewing – whether seated or standing.

AVAILABLE MODELS

DepthQ® MobileTM systems are currently available in four configurations:
  • Model DQM-m (pictured above and right) - Utilizes a 60" DLP 3D Monitor (see the pdf).
  • Model DQM-mr - Is identical to the above with the addition of an integrated rugged roadcase
  • Model DQM-rpa - Is a rear-projection kiosk-style version which utilizes the DepthQ® HDs3D-1 Projector internally (see the pdf).
  • Model DQM-rpp - Is identical to the above with the addition of a specialized polarization-preserving rear-projection screen, and the DepthQ®ModulatorTM, allowing passive glasses to be worn.

DEPTHQ® MOBILETM FEATURES

At the heart of DepthQ® MobileTM models DQM-m and DQM-mr is a 60” diagonal 3D HD DLP® monitor. This state-of-the-art stereoscopic display device provides high-resolution, flicker-free, progressive 120 Hz 3D imaging with 3D resolution of 1 megapixels per eye.

At the heart of DepthQ® MobileTM models DQM-rpa and DQM-rpp is the DepthQ® HDs3D-1 Projector, which, combined with a specialized rear-projection screen material produces a bright, 52” diagonal, ultra-high-contrast, flicker-free, progressive 120 Hz 3D display. Two different high-contrast screen materials are utilized, depending upon whether the system is configured for rear-projection active stereo (DQM-rpa) or passive stereo (DQM-rpp).

In all four systems an integrated computer system with powerful DepthQ®CaptureTM and DepthQ®PlayerTM software provides:
  • Real-time live 3D camera acquisition and monitoring
  • Perfectly synchronized 3D digital video recorded directly to computer hard drive
  • Automated generation of 3D films for playback
  • Full-featured player interface, includes advanced playback controls and playlists
  • The fastest and highest-quality Motion JPEG video compression, adopted by the largest medical technology companies in the world
Other features include:
  • Rugged and lockable rubber wheels for transportability
  • PAL compatibility
  • Self-contained internal motorized lift
  • The three active-stereo systems include ten pair of comfortable, lightweight (1.6 ounce) Liquid Crystal (LC) shutter glasses.
  • The DQM-rpp passive-stereo system includes ten pair of extremely lightweight metal frame circularly-polarized glasses.
