ROSWELL PARK CANCER INSTITUTE Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY purchased two systems to visualize live stereoscopic surgical procedures. One system was installed in the operating room so that people in the OR could see the stereo images. FIRST CZECH CONGRESS OF ROBOTIC SURGERY The visitors of both the first and second Czech Congress Of Robotic Surgery (10/24/2006 and 10/16/2007 in Brno, Czech Republic) were able to experience a robotic operation performed in Stereoscopic 3D. The operation was performed using a DaVinci surgical system and was broadcast in realtime from St. Ann Hospital in Brno. The event was organized by HOSPIMED Inc., exclusive distributor of DaVinci systems for the east Europe region. DepthQ Capture and Server technology was used for the 3D stereo video signal.
